主要研究方向
1.植物重要功能基因的克隆、鉴定与利用:以重要农作物小麦、玉米、棉花、烟草以及模式植物拟南芥为研究材料,克隆与作物发育、抗逆性等密切相关的功能基因,探讨这些基因的表达模式及其调控机制,研究其在作物遗传改良上的利用价值,获得拥有我国自己专利或知识产权的基因,为生物技术育种提供基因资源。
2.基因表达调控元件的鉴定与应用:人为控制外源基因在转基因作物的特定器官、特定时期表达,必须依靠组织专一型启动子、发育诱导型启动子和其它基因表到调控元件。本方向主要研究各类启动子的表达调控机制和应用,染色质重塑与基因表达,核基质结合序列MAR(matrix
attachment region)对转基因表达的调控机制与应用。
