Regulations on Foreign Teachers working

              in SDAU

一、应聘来我校工作的外籍教师，享受与中国教师同等的待遇。在校期间应自觉遵守中国的法律、法规，尊重中国人民的道德规范和风俗习惯，尊重中国的宗教政策，不干涉中国的内部事务。

1.    The employed foreign teachers shall receive the same treatment as Chinese teachers. They shall also observe the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government and shall respect Chinese moral standards, customs and religion policy, not interfere in China‘s internal affairs.

二、学校尊重外教个人的民族习俗和宗教信仰，但不允许外教在我国传教和从事与其身份不符的活动。

2. Shandong Agricultural University shall respect foreign teachers’ customs and religions, but they are not allowed to conduct religious or other activities incompatible with the status of a teacher.

三、外教应自觉遵守学校的有关工作制度和管理规定，接受学校的工作安排，按学校下达的教学计划完成好自己的任务，并接受学校的业务指导、检查和评估。在受聘期间，未经学校同意，不得兼任与校方无关的其他劳务。

3. Foreign teachers shall observe the school’s work system and regulations concerning administration of foreign teachers and accept arrangement, direction, supervision and evaluation with regard to their work. Without the school consent, foreign teachers shall not render service elsewhere or hold concurrently any other positions.

四、外教有责任维护学校正常的教学工作秩序和纪律，不迟到、早退，未经学校同意不得随意调课，在任何情况下不得无故停课。外教有事不能正常上课时应向学校请假，并提前安排好工作，使其不受影响。外教每学期事假累计一般不应超过6天。

4. Foreign teachers shall observe the school’s regulations. Without the school’s permission, foreign teachers can’t change the class schedule or cancel the class for any reason. If there is a reason that the teacher can not give the class, leave should be asked for in advance. The class should be rescheduled. In one semester, the cumulative leaves of absence cannot be greater than 6 days.

外教请病假须出具医生的《病假通知单》。根据医生诊断，外教在病假连续30天后仍不能恢复正常工作的，按国家有关管理规定应终止合同，回国诊治。

For sick leave, the foreign teacher needs to show a sick note written by government accredited doctors. According to government regulations, if the sick leave is over 30 days, then the contract should be terminated.

五、外教在学校工作期间与其他教师同样享受中国政府规定的带薪休假（每年7天），同时可带薪享受其原籍国家的传统节日假期（每年不超过2天）。

5.Foreign teachers are entitled to the same 7-day Chinese holidays as the Chinese teachers in the same work place. They are entitled to 2-day holidays of his/her nationality and religion.

六、外教上课时应注意自己的仪表风范，不在中国学生面前发表含有反对、攻击其它国家内容或伤害别国人民感情的言论。外教所使用的教材及参考资料（如音像制品等）应事先征得校方同意。

6.In class, wear suitable clothes, and do not speak any aggressive sentences that will harm the feelings of other nations in front of the students.

All the teaching materials including books, videos, tapes, CDs shall be approved by the school in advance.

七、外教到校报到后，由学校发给校园卡和校徽。校园卡和校徽是外教的身份证明与标志，应随身佩戴。学校负责外籍教师在校内的安全保卫工作，外教外出时应注意自身安全，利用节（假）日去外地旅游要提前向学校管理部门说明。

7. Foreign teachers will be given campus passes and badges after registration. The passes and badges are identification for working in the school, bring them with you. The school is responsible for the foreign teachers’ safety while on campus. If the foreign teachers go outside the campus or travel during the holidays, please be careful and let the International Programs Office know where you go in advance.

   八、外教在公寓住宿时应自觉遵守《外国专家公寓管理规定》。

九、外教的社会管理由政府有关行政部门负责。

9. While in social and public places, please observe regulations stipulated by the local government.

Regulations on Foreign Teachers working
